We are seeking a Program Director for the upcoming U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Global Health Training, Advisory, and Support Contract (GHTASC). The purpose of the contract is to promote effective global health programming and advance the mission of the USAID Bureau for Global Health (GH) through workforce development and institutional support services.
Note: This position is contingent on contract award.
The Program Director will be responsible for the overall management of program and contractor staff performance, including the supervision of senior project managers, the distribution of project guidance and communications, the oversight of program operations, staffing logistics, and professional and organizational development, the management of business ethics, employee relations, employee performance management, the development and implementation of a diversity and inclusion strategy, and authoritative engagement with the U.S. Government. The Program Director will also be responsible for the management of overall recruitment, recognition, retention, and performance of advisory, administrative, and management support services, the supervision of contractor unit and team leaders, the submission of reports and deliverables, the management of subcontracting, procurement, and purchasing, and the compliance with Federal and Agency laws, regulations and policies. The Program Direc tor will oversee space management, equipment inventory and disposition, travel coordination, contractor employee onboarding and offboarding, and security clearance processing. The Senior Program Director will collaborate with the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer’s Representative in carrying out project activities.
- A graduate degree in health, management, or another relevant field.
- Ten years of relevant full-time professional experience
- Experience in senior management of U.S. Government contracts of similar complexity to GHTASC.
- Well-versed in USAID and USG regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Prior experience with USAID Global Health programs is highly desirable.
