Coursera was launched in 2012 by two Stanford Computer Science professors, Andrew Ng and Daphne Koller, with a mission to provide universal access to world-class learning. It is now one of the largest online learning platforms in the world, with 82 million registered learners as of March 31, 2021. Coursera partners with over 200 leading university and industry partners to offer a broad catalog of content and credentials, including Guided Projects, courses, Specializations, certificates, and bachelor’s and master’s degrees. More than 6,000 institutions have used Coursera to upskill and reskill their employees, citizens, and students, including in high-demand fields such as data science, technology, and business. The Services team works to empower learners, partners, and enterprise customers to achieve their goals on Coursera. The team is made up of four sub-teams: Learner Services, Partner Services, Program Management, and Teaching & Learning. We help learners succeed by implementing innovative systems and processes that solve problems. We also develop best practices and technical expertise to enable our partners to create high quality content. As strong advocates for the Coursera community, we work to align cross-functional teams and build scalable solutions to continuously improve the Coursera experience.
Responsibilities:
- Align a broad set of cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Marketing, Engineering, Business, Legal, etc.) to ensure your degree programs are successful – from recruiting the best applicants to building high quality courses to providing a best-in-class student experience
- Manage the operations associated with degree or MasterTrack™ programs, resolving issues as needed to ensure an exceptional partner and student experience
- Provide platform and technical support to our degree partners, and manage the product feedback loop between partners and product teamsIdentify, test, and implement strategies to launch and grow our degrees in ways that drive student retention, partner satisfaction, and other key metrics.
- Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to make our for-credit platform compelling for both students and university partners
- Ensure your partner’s success through management of key metrics, and the strategies to improve them
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience managing relationships with partners or clients
- Business fluency in English and Spanish

- Passion for Technology: Ability to learn a new technology or tool and leverage the expertise in successfully implementing it per client’s requirements
- Client Success Management: Relentlessly drive towards making your partner’s goals a reality, and transform into their trusted advisor.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work cross functionally both internally and externally ensuring critical milestones are reached in a timely manner and with high quality.
- Leadership without authority: Ability to influence and motivate stakeholders to implement program management recommendations through data-driven insights
- Analytical reasoning: Participate in identifying product and process gaps through issue recognition and work on filling them in collaboration with the larger Coursera ecosystem.
- Effective Communication: Ability to explain concepts in a concise and structured manner. An ideal candidate should be able to understand business objectives as well as translate them into technical requirements.
- Executive presence and comfort moving between stakeholders and operational execution rapidly to enable different audiences
