Programme delegate with strong capacities in PMEAL

 

Experience / Training

 

You have a minimum of five years’ relevant international experience in programme management in the field in disaster relief, recovery or development work together with a master’s degree or higher in international cooperation, development, social sciences or related field.

You are familiar with conducting PMEAL in humanitarian relief and development sectors and have excellent knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods – preferably experience in participatory processes and gender issues. If you are familiar with RCRC movement is an advantage.

We are looking for a candidate with detailed knowledge of different results frameworks used for project design, monitoring and evaluation (logical framework, TOC, etc.) in combination with a good understanding of gender, protection, social or human vulnerability issues.

You need to have a good analytical capacity and communication skills in combination with in-depth cultural sensitivity. Professional competency in the following computer programs: Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel and Access; and ideally Kobo Collect or ODK is an advantage, and you need to be fluency in English and French both oral and in writing as excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

You need to be self-motivated, with good judgment and initiative. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with and motivate colleagues to achieve shared goals are a prerequisite as well as strong capacity to handle complex tasks independently, multitask and prioritize, and meet multiple deadlines on time. You must be able to work in a rather stressful environment with sometimes limited access to basic facilities

 

Salary

 

The salary including all allowances and pension payment will be between DKK 40.000 and 42.750 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is a non-family duty station.
