About the role
Supporting Crown Agents to deliver effective and efficient programmes and services to our clients, acting as a centre of excellence, challenge and support. Contribute to CA’s success through strong project management and support to team leaders to deliver profitable results, manage risk and ensure client impact is well communicated.
MAIN JOB PURPOSE
Work closely with PPM to contribute to effective and timely delivery of the ‘Accelerating the Sustainable Control and Elimination Neglected Tropical Disease’ (ASCEND) programme.
Contribute to establishing the PMO as a centre of excellence as a knowledgeable programme manager and trusted advisors for internal and external clients. Manage Crown Agents’ projects in line with corporate procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and growth, this includes on-selling the project and supporting business winning activities.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB
Assist with the management and support of HPF3 within time and budget.
- Support the PPM to ensure Contracted annual financial target is met or exceeded
- Coordinate inputs of the programme team to meet key stakeholder requirements.
- Ensure internal workplans and agreed action plans are followed by programme teams, including consortium partners.
- Ensure corporate compliance requirements are followed on programmes. This will include regular updates of the RAG reports, Risk Register and Filing adherence.
- Ensure risks are mitigated and escalated as needed
- Support strong internal and external communication, including regular minute taking where appropriate.
- Support the mobilisation of long and short-term programme team members.
- Maintain excellent relations with stakeholders and liaise with client, partner and other relevant individuals and organisations as required
- Undertake management visits to programme countries, as and when required
- Deliver annual target for billable days
- Arrange payment for suppliers and contractors with the programme accountant
- Support the programme accountant to arrange timely invoices, financial reports, forecasts and cashflow projections for internal monitoring purposes and for the client in line with contractual terms
- Monitor partner expenditure against budgets, ensuring invoicing is on time and in line with agreed reporting.
- Ensure appropriate monitoring and lesson learning mechanisms are put in place

• A relevant post-graduate degree, desirable
Experience
• Relevant government or private sector experience in MEL
• Proven ability to identify, develop and win new opportunities
