Project Coordinator Sustainable Investment Program

Summary:

 

 

World Resources Institute China Office (WRI China) is seeking a Project Coordinator to provide project coordination and administrative support for the team. We require excellent attention to detail, good understanding of team dynamics, goal-oriented, excellent interpersonal skills and coordination ability, strong time and priority management abilities, and understanding of energy policy and sustainable development issues.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide administrative support for sustainable investment program, including meeting coordination, travel arrangement, etc.
  • Monitor and manage sub-agreements and payment requests for subgrants and contracts ensuring all paperwork is up to date and that payments are made in timely manner
  • Coordinate internal financial management by updating budgets, reviewing, and tracking expenses vs. planned budget to ensure costs are recorded properly and funding is spent in a reasonable manner
  • Provide logistic support for internal and external workshops, conferences, expert consultations, and other events in collaboration with partners and stakeholders
  • Coordinate within WRI on any cross-program cooperation and activities relevant to Sustainable Investment Program
  • Translate bi-lingual materials around events, publications, press releases, web development, and blogs of the program
  • Support the program staff with other administrative duties as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in English, public administration or related fields) with an excellent academic record
  • Minimum 3-year work experience on project coordination, financial and contract management
  • Excellent oral and written Chinese and English, and outstanding inter-personal skills
  • Ability to write in an organized, clear, and articulate manner
  • Strong computer skills, including high proficiency in Microsoft Office, web-based communications (Teams, Zoom, etc.), and internet research
  • Strong team spirits, and ability to handle multiple priorities, take initiative, and deliver under tight deadlines
  • Willingness to travel and to concentrate on field work as needed
  • Demonstrated capacity to work well under pressure with competing demands
  • Results focused, with a strong team orientation, and the ability to work well under pressure toward a tight deadline
  • Commitment to WRI’s mission and institutional values

 

Final candidate will be required to take a writing test.

 

Reporting: Sustainable Investment Program Manager

Salary and Benefits: Salary is commensurate with experience and skills. WRI offers a generous, comprehensive benefits package
