Experience / Training
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Successful 4-10 years work experience in management of agroforestry / forestry / agroecology operations in reputed companies and/or NGOs.
- Master’s Degree in Agronomy / Forestry / Ecology, or a related field.
- Strong technical skills, including strong understanding of topics such as soil science, carbon (and other elements) cycle, crop production, trees and forests ecology, etc.
- Strong desire to commit and dedicate his/her experience and energy to a unique socio-environmental business experience and contribute to the integration of climate change risks into the world economy.
- Autonomous, dynamic, excellent business and relational skills.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, rigour and formalization. High self-requirement level.
- Professional fluency in English and Mandarin. Fluency in French will be seen as an asset.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint, GIS tools, etc.
- Strong mobility: the Agronomist will travel across Yunnan, China and Asia for project implementation and supervision, audits, etc.
