ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key relationships:

Psychiatrist, psychologist, PSS workers, MHPSS Center staff

General objective of the position:

Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing consultation to patients and compliance with health directorate protocols with providing prescriptions to patients when needed and supervise other MHPSS center staff.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

· Provide psychiatry consultation to the patients in MH clinic

· Coordinate with the Turkish psychiatrist to ensure the compliance with the health directorate protocols

· Provide prescription to the patients when needed

· Technical supervision of the team leader and psychologists in MHPSS center

· Ensure required reporting is done timely and accurately.

· Represent SAMS in all relevant fora in relation to the position duties, as requested by the projects department manager.

THE CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory Qualifications required

· Associate or Bachelor degree in Psychiatry

· Three years’ desirable in MHPSS management

Competencies:

· Remote Management Tools and Techniques

· Microsoft Office (Excel, word, PowerPoint

Languages

· Advanced written and spoken in Arabic

· Pre-Intermediate written and spoken in English
