How can you make a difference?

The main objective of the consultancy is to ensure that the construction works being carried out with UNICEF support adhere to agreed quality standards, designs, Bill of quantities (BoQs) and specifications through regular supervision and managing of construction work and reporting back to UNICEF on progress and challenges.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering, Architecture or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience including demonstrable track in construction supervision of sanitation, education and health infrastructure;

  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written);

  • Previous experience of working with UN will be considered an asset.

Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
