Overview
Responsibilities
- The individual will assist with the collection and analysis of data for specified research projects, perform specific research-related tasks and procedures, and maintain efficient laboratory operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed to meet the goals and objectives of the department including bioluminescence imaging and technical procedures.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Zoology, Veterinarian/Animal Science, or a related scientific field.
Minimum Experience
Desired Skills and Abilities:
- At least one year hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry or academic research setting.
- Proficiency in murine husbandry and handling, various routes of administration, and tissue harvesting.
- Knowledge of anatomy and aseptic surgical techniques.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with members of a multidisciplinary team.
- Meticulous record keeping, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to anticipate problems and offer solutions.
- Prior experience with bioluminescence or other preclinical imaging technologies.
