Researcher

• The individual will assist with the collection and analysis of data for specified research projects, perform specific research-related tasks and procedures, and maintain efficient laboratory operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed to meet the goals and objectives of the department including bioluminescence imaging and technical procedures.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

• At least one year hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry or academic research setting.
• Proficiency in murine husbandry and handling, various routes of administration, and tissue harvesting.
• Knowledge of anatomy and aseptic surgical techniques.
• Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with members of a multidisciplinary team.
• Meticulous record keeping, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to anticipate problems and offer solutions. 
• Prior experience with bioluminescence or other preclinical imaging technologies.
