My ambition and career goals regard being a part of the work of the international organizations connected, especially in the field of SDG 3 (Good Health & Wellbeing), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 6 (Clean WATER & Sanitation), and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
A Project Management for Development Professionals (PMD Pro Level 1) certified by APMG UK, and with an overall career experience of 13 + years include Not for Profit, Administration, Hospitality, Financial, and Banking services.
My current role as State Program Manager involves liaison with State and District Medical Authorities of Telangana in supplementing the Ending preventable maternal mortality through IHRPTM training to the health practitioners includes Medical Officers, Specialists and ANM’s across the 33 districts of Telangana.
Prior to the current role, I worked as a Project Manager for a NGO focused on Disability sector, where in I handled 3 projects – Skill Development Training for the Hearing-Impaired youth, Sign Language Training, and Multi Disability Centre for children with Special needs.
Before this I worked as an IMPACT Manager for a Social Impact Advisory firm focused on achieving the Sustainable Developmental Goals (SDG4, SDG6, and SDG8) where in, I was associated with Programs on Rural Entrepreneurship, Water Sanitation and Hygiene, Early Childhood Development, Farmer Producer Companies, Alternative Livelihoods, Community Based Tourism with donors include UNICEF and a few USA based agencies.
I firmly believe in Sustainability, which is critical to any developmental program to balance the Eco-Systems. In my current projects, I was allowed to measure the program’s impact in the Tribal Communities of Andhra Pradesh. We also promoted a Farmer Producer Company to empower the Tribal farmers, advocating with the Government Agriculture departments in availing the various available schemes to the Farmers.
I was involved in a unique and first of its kind project on Entrepreneurship in Rural Sanitation with UNICEF. And with a US-based WASH agency, associated with a program to bring holistic and sustainable change in the Tribal areas of Ananthagiri and Araku mandals in Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh. Furthermore, working in the Developmental sector has made me more responsible towards society and that too, reaching out to the most vulnerable Tribal communities and enhancing and empowering their lives.
Regarding academics, I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Sociology (Distance Mode), holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications. I have international work exposure and expertise in working with multilingual people in various locations, including Zurich, and London as part of my past job roles.
