Overview :
UNDP Vietnam is seeking for A national consulting firm/institution/organization to conduct an independent assessment on mangrove regeneration work in 5 provinces (Nam Dinh, Thanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Ca Mau) of the GCF project.
The firm/institution/organization is expected to:
– Conduct a quality assessment on the entire mangrove area (including both regenerated areas as well as new plantations) supported by the Project during 2018-2020, in order to understand what has contributed to the success and failures; to identify any potential issues with the low quality of implementation (if any), and any gaps that need to be addressed by the Project and its partners in the remaining time of the project.
– Propose appropriate solutions to minimize the potential risks or issues with the low quality of implementation, and to assure an increase in the quality of implementation (maintenance of the existing area 2018-2020 and implementation of the planned activities in 2021 and 2022).
– Provide lessons learned from the implementation to share as best practices for planned project activities supported by the Project, and in particular, any modalities or approaches which are different from other projects, and which may contribute to the high quality of implementation.
