UNDP Vietnam is seeking for 01 National Firm/Institution/Organization to support MPI with the development of new circular & guidelines on integration of disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation into socio-economic development plans (SEDPs).
The contractor is expected to to carry out the task of setting up a database integrating population data (location, coordinates) and GPS information into the Vietnamese Disaster Monitoring System (VNDMS) for 14 disaster-prone coastal provinces in central Viet Nam, contributing to the creation of a complete sharing of database information for national DRM.
Following are objectives of this consultancy service:
1. Support MPI in developing a new circular & guidelines on integration of DRR/CCA into SEDPs (to replace Circular 05/2016/TT-BKHDT);
2. Support provincial, district, and commune planners and practitioners to update and use risk information for integrating DRR/CCA into SEDP planning processes.
