UNDP Vietnam is seeking for 01 National Firm/Institution/Organization to organize the Golden Bell Challenge for secondary school pupils in Viet Nam. The Challenge will focus on the following topics: climate change, disasters, and the environmental and social benefits of mangrove plantation and regeneration
The contractor is expected to:
• Work with UNDP, the Central Project Management Unit (CPMU)/Viet Nam Disaster Management Authority (VnDMA), the Vietnam Administration of Forestry (VNForest), and other relevant project experts to propose and develop content, questions, and answers that are applicable and age-appropriate for secondary school students.
• Develop a website for the online competition that includes multiple choice questions, online evaluation/ranking, and event details such as timing.
• Develop a communication plan to encourage secondary school pupils across Viet Nam to join the competition.
• Develop a detailed work plan to organize the competition and meet the key performance indicators (KPIs) including:
– Work with secondary schools in the seven provinces to ensure that at least 50,000 pupils take part in the competition.
– Have information about the competition published in at least 20 national newspapers.
– Reach about 2 million people on social media platforms including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
– Organize 01 day for the offline final round and award ceremony with the participation of at least 500 students in Quang Ngai province
• Take photos to document the competition.
• Produce a short video (3 – 5 minutes) to document key activities of the competition through, for example, short interviews with UNDP and other relevant partners. The video script must be approved by UNDP, the CPMU, and VNForest/VnDMA. The final video is to include a voice-over in Vietnamese as well as subtitles in English, and it should be in MP4 full HD format. Copyright will be with UNDP and the “Coastal Resilience Project.”
• Develop a final report to capture the competition’s results, demonstrate the knowledge of the students, and make recommendations for improvement.
