stage ambassade d’Irlande Paris

A six month internishp at the embassy of Ireland in Paris. Beginning in August-September 2021.Closing date for application : Wed. 9 June 2021.

The interns will mainly work alongside the embassy press, EU, foreign policy and/or economic policy teams.

Applicants must have :

A minimum EQF Level 6 qualification in an area relevant to the work of the embassy. Acceptable qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, French licence, Bac+3 or higher

The abilityt obtain a convention de stage

Excellent spoken and witten English (C2 level) and Frenc (C1 level) with the ability to write accuratey in English

A good understanding of EU and internationl affairs

To work on their own initiative, an interest in a bilingual environment

The legal right to reside in France

If you are studying in a French university, a convention de stage should be available. You may be in a position to combine an internship with an Erasmus+ traineeship and your institution to issue the convention. The embassy cannot intervene with your university on your behalf. Shortlisted candidates will be asked in French and English about their educational experience, foreign poicy initiatives by Ireland and France. The interviews will take place remotely the week of June 14, 2021 and be preceded by exercises to test written and listening skills.

A monthy stipend is paid (euros 548 incl. luncheon vouchers and euro 37.60 for travel costs). 12 days leave.
