Location: Dadeldhura, Bhageshower Municipality, Nepal

The Role

The Technical Coordinator will enable OXFAM to design and implement multi-use water system project and support the TROSA team requirements ensuring the vulnerable riverine communities demands for integrated water management.

The incumbent should have a good understanding of public health needs of poor rural communities and appropriate ways of tackling them and should be aware of sensitive to needs of women in this context.

What we are looking for

The Technical Coordinator will require to be exceptional, dedicated, and highly motivated professional, with a strong commitment to Oxfam’s values and beliefs with the following qualification and competencies:

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline related to Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in sustainable WASH project and micro-hydro project or Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience
  • Strong command on selection, designing and estimation of micro-hydro.
  • Strong interpersonal and Practical experience in coordination with partners and local governments.
  • Understanding of public health needs and willing work in rural municipalities
  • Willing to learn and ensure practice of OXFAM procedures
  • Commitment to humanitarian principles and action, and to Oxfam’s equal opportunity and gender policies.
