Position: Trainer for manufacturing and installing artificial limbs

Location: Yemen

Length of Contract: 6 Months

Responsibilities:

1. Capacity building of the technical staff through the following:

· Manufacturing, maintains, and repairs artificial limbs, plastic cosmetic appliances, and other prosthetic devices, according to specifications which is provided by PROSTHETIST or PROSTHETICS ASSISTANT to have a perfect limb.

· Lays out and marks dimensions of parts, using precision measuring instruments and templates

· Rising awareness about anatomy, patient’s physical rehabilitation, and how to have good relations with patients and their families.

· teaching the trainees about the necessary exercises, and how-to raise awareness about using and protecting the new limb.

· Rising the ability of using Saws, carves, cuts, and grinds wood, plastic, metal, or fabric to fabricate parts, to have artificial limbs.

· Encouraging the staff to work in a team.

1. Teaching the staff how to reveal troubles and fix the problems in the production
2. Orientation the staff in each case’s details as required
3. Developing the capacity of the staff to be able to product and maintain all types of prosthetics.

Qualifications:

· Certificated by national or international institute for rehabilitation the Prosthetics.

· 4 years in practical experience at least.

· Able to arise the competence of the staff

· Arabic fluently speaking, writing, reading is required.

· Good English speaking, writing, reading is required.
