Minimum age: 22 years old. Applicants must be nationals of or legal residents in the country of assignment.
Under the direct supervision of the Head of Communications, UNDP Bangladesh, the national UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks:
Digital content management
- Supporting the communications team to organize, caption, tag, and upload photographs, multimedia content to online media library
Social media management and analytics
- Drafting social media content in English and Bangla for key social media sites, i.e-Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Engaging with diverse audiences across all the social media sites of UNDP
- Tracking and assessing social media metrics, insights, and best practices to help UNDP Communications continuously improve the reach and engagement with key audiences
Outreach and other support
- Supporting strategic engagement with national and international media
Providing additional communications support as required
Bachelor degree or equivalent
University degree in Communications, Journalism, Mass Media, English language and lit-erature, Film Studies, Cinematography or related studies.
24 Months
- A minimum of two years of in digital communications
- Experience in managing social media sites, i.e- Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube
- Experience and proven skills in basic photo and video editing software
- Previous experience in digital assets management.
