DIT

Main purpose of job:

 

Provide administrative support to the DIT (Department for International Trade) Commercial Section at the British Consulate-General Sao Paulo.

 

The selected candidate will support the DIT Commercial Lead on the challenging role to help increase bilateral trade and investment between Brazil and the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will also provide support to the Head of Investment in Sao Paulo with administrative tasks.

 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in commercial meetings, missions, internal and external events in order to develop professional skills and experience to enhance future career prospects.

 

 

Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve?:

 

·       Supporting the DIT Commercial team with logistics in trips, missions, internal and external meetings;

 

·       Supporting the Head of Investment with internal meetings, CRM tool, and administrative tasks in general;

 

·       Accompanying meetings with Brazilian and UK partners, both virtually and in person;

 

·       Producing and reviewing internal briefings, documents and agendas;

 

·       Providing support on the organisation of events (trade missions and fairs), official visits, seminars and workshops, if needed;

 

·       Supporting with finance reports on team’s expanses; and light data analysis

 

·       Devote some time to support Marketing and Communications activities (Newsletters, Social Media)

 

Essential on arrival: 1st to 3rd year undergraduate student in Public Administration, Economics, Public Policy, International Relations, or other related area. (graduating from beginning 2023 onwards)

 

Pro-active self-starter, organised, responsible, communicative and creative, team player, willing to learn and grow as a professional in a dynamic and friendly environment. Knowledge in Microsoft Office package.
