Main purpose of job

Give commercial and administrative support to DIT Team at the British Embassy Santo Domingo.

 

Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve?:

• Update and / or conduct brief studies of priority sectors

• Assist in the coordination of visiting programs

• Maintain updated database

• Make short translations from English to Spanish and vice versa

• Assist in the organization of seminars and events

• Keep the files of the Commercial Section updated

• Currently enrolled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in, International Business, Business Administration,  or similar.

• Experience in Customer Service, Event Planning or similar.

• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access.

Must have the legal status to live and work in Dominican Republic.

Information Management and/or Procurement experience.
