Main purpose of job

Provide commercial and administrative support to the Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education team within the commercial section (Department for International Trade) at the British Embassy in Mexico City.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide logistics support in virtual and in-person events/fairs, trade missions and workshops related to both sectors
  • Market research and report generation
  • Lead internal and external meetings, when necessary, to promote the UK offer and highlight the opportunities in the Mexican market.
  • Share relevant information about Mexican context with British SMEs that would like to explore the Mexican market
  • Monitor the internet, newsletters and specialised magazines to gather information for the team and produce weekly and monthly newsletters
  • Keep internal information updated. E.g. calendars, sector information folders.

Undergraduate/ last semester of International Business, Business Administration, International Relations or any commercial related field.

Language: English

Level of language required: 90% written and spoken

Proactive, research, social and communication skills, interest for both Healthcare/Life Sciences and Education sectors.
