The British Embassy in Poland is part of a world-wide network, representing British political, economic and consular interests overseas and is now looking to recruit an Intern to provide support to the Corporate Services (CS) Team in everyday work and ongoing projects.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Provide organisational and administrative support for all CS colleagues regarding estates Embassy and rented properties, transport but also (e.g. conducting ad-hoc research, providing translation, attending and writing up meetings);
- Take part in ongoing projects and prepare longer projects as furniture auction, electronic waste disposal.
- Fluency in Polish and English (both oral and written, minimum C1 level*);
- Strong research skills;
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills;
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to multi-task and perform other duties as and when required;
- Organisational and administrative skills;
- Strong IT Skills (esp. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

This is a 3 month internship contract until 30 September 2021.

Internships offered at the British Embassy are governed by the applicable Polish law. The British Embassy encourages you to have a medical check prior to commencing your internship, however, any costs incurred are not covered by the British Embassy.
