Main purpose of job:
The British Embassy is recruiting for someone who can provide expert Driving Skills relating to day to day core transportation support for all staff in British Embassy. The position sits with the Embassy Corporate Service Team and will contribute given Transport support both in the UK and in Indonesia.
Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve?:
- Driver for the Pool (Embassy operational)
- Security vehicle (armoured) in their care.
- Daily check of tyre pressures, hydraulic fluid, oil, radiator, and battery level
- Keeping the vehicle clean and roadworthy
- Reporting any defects happened
- Keeping an accurate record of all journeys, petrol voucher and any other receipts.
Learning and development opportunities:
- English conversation, IT Microsoft word, Excel, Driver training & PRISM Skills.
- At least Senior High School
- At least three years of experience in Driving with Expatriate/foreigner
- A keen sense of honesty, integrity and confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team and be adaptable to the working environment
- Good Driving skills and experience, held B1 License
- A positive attitude to working flexible hours, able to work in shift
- Moderate basic in English and Bahasa Indonesia
