This role will lead on:

  • Digital communication for DIT in South East Asia and Her Majesty’s Trade Commissioner.

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Head of Communications and Marketing for APAC, communications teams across the region, you will lead on the digital elements of the network’s communications, in line with the Regional Trade Plan, including drafting social media plans, messaging and developing content calendars.
  • Manage a range of activities including maintaining dedicated digital channels, drafting social media plans and messaging, developing content calendars, and creating engaging online material (e.g. infographics, videos, audios).
  • Manage digital communications for key moments throughout the year, including core ASEAN engagements.
  • Review new technologies and exploring new developments in the digital landscape to ensure the Network’s communications exploit emerging trends and remain relevant to their audience.
  • Monitor social media channels and brief the team on social media trends.- Provide data analysis and evaluation of DIT’s digital media activities and provide recommendations to extend our communications reach.

  • Proven experience in developing and managing digital and social media channels
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and multi-task effectively
  • Good team-working skills and the ability to develop productive relationships with other teams around the network

  • Relevant degree and/or relevant experience
  • Familiarity with implementing a digital/social media strategy

We offer a competitive package, which includes basic salary of SGD 4,359 per month and annual wage supplement [an additional 2 months’ salary paid out in December each year], 23-day annual leave entitlement in pro rata and insurance plan.

Due to the Government of Singapore’s measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19, including safe distancing and travel restrictions, we are only able to accept applications from those currently resident in Singapore.  The successful applicant will likely be required to work from home until safe distancing measures are relaxed.

Normal working hours are 37.5 per week: 8.30am to 5.00pm from Monday to Friday.
