RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work under the supervision of the Country Director to provide leadership and strategic oversight of support functions (Finance, HR and Logistics); while managing the mission’s Internal Controls and Compliance, as well as ensuring the coordination of all activities linked to Risk Management.
More precisely your missions will be to:
- Provide Strategic Direction to the Mission on Support and Internal Controls
- Manage the Support Team
- Ensure Management of Risk and Compliance
- Contribute to Program Development and Cycle Management, and Proposal Writing
- Liaise with Donors, Consortium Partners, NGOs, UN and Authorities, for support, contractual and compliance-related issues
REQUESTED PROFILE
Academic Background:
- Masters’ degree in international relations, humanitarian and development studies, Finance, HR, Logistics or similar field.
Previous experience needed: - At least 2 years’ experience in senior-level operations function
- Experience in emergency and insecure contexts
- Desirable: Prior experience with ACF in an emergency context, in the role of Field Coordinator, Finance, HR or Logistics HoD, or similar
Knowledge and Personal Skills: - Strong understanding of Logistics, Finance, and/or HR procedures- Proven interpersonal and networking skills
- Ability to grasp a wide range of complex issues and synthetize them strategically
- Strategic and critical thinking
- Open minded and flexible
- Autonomous and process/result-oriented
Languages Skills: - English fluency is compulsory.
- Arabic an asset
Computer Skills : - Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint). Others would be an strong asset (SAGA, Homere, Link)
SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY
Contract and benefits
- 12 months fixed term contract under French legislation
- Monthly gross salary from 2735 to 3185EUR upon experience
- Per diem and living allowance: $302 + $426 (cf eurocost) net, field paid.

- 16% of monthly gross for non-French citizen for retrocession of retirement and unemployment insurance

Leaves and RnR - 25 days of paid leaves per year.

- 20 RnR per year (and additional days to cover the RnR period rotation when necesserary)
