RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director Programs to provide overall leadership and coordination in project and grant development, follow-up, reporting, and external communication with donors. You will support the DCD-P with overall oversight of programme quality and design.
More precisely your missions will be to:
- Maintain Grants Systems and Priorities: lead kick-off for new grants, including a GAC health and nutrition project, a multi-sectoral ECHO project, and an anticipated new RRM project;
- Lead on Program Development in Line with Country Strategy: lead in development of new proposals and sourcing funding opportunities;
- Lead all internal and external reporting processes: provide high quality donor reports for ongoing and closed projects;
- Ensure compliance with donor guidelines and regulations
- Support Consortium Coordination and Project Management of Emergency-Response Consortium Activities (funding-dependent): support the program, finance, and operations teams throughout the entire project lifecycle;
- Ensure effective coordination of programs integration: conduct field visits to provide support for scale-up of nutrition programmes countrywide
REQUESTED PROFILE
- At least 3 years of experience with INGOs as expatriate staff member, ideally in grant or project management role
- Previous experience in highly insecure and complex environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with donors including ECHO, DFID, UN organisations, and GAC
- Strong time management skills, and ability to balance multiple competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work both autonomously and part of a team
- Experience managing or coordinating teams and budgets
- Fluency in spoken and written English
SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY
Contract and benefits
- 12 months fixed term contract under French legislation
- Monthly gross salary from 2450EUR to 2800EUR upon experience
- Per diem and living allowance: $302 + $426 (cf eurocost) net, field paid.
