A GRANTS MANAGER – YEMEN

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work under the supervision of the Grants Coordinator to provide overall leadership and coordination in grant reporting and follow-up for a high-volume emergency response famine prevention project, leading periodic review meetings and supporting Project Coordinator with overall oversight.
More precisely your missions will be to:

• Lead kick-off meeting with Project Coordinator;
• Elaborate and monitor donors and internal monitoring reporting in relation with the Grants coordinator : review and cascade donor reporting requirements;
• Work to develop any internal monitoring tools to support donor reporting and internal learning

REQUESTED PROFILE

• At least 3 years of experience with INGOs as expatriate staff member, ideally in grant or project management role
• Previous experience in highly insecure and complex environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with donors including ECHO, DFID, UN organisations, and GAC
• Strong time management skills, and ability to balance multiple competing priorities and deadlines
• Ability to work both autonomously and part of a team
• Experience managing or coordinating teams and budgets
• Fluency in spoken and written English

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY

Contract and benefits

• 12 months fixed term contract under French legislation
• Monthly gross salary from 2010 à 2 335EUR upon experience
• Per diem and living allowance: $302 + $426 (cf eurocost) net, field paid.
• • 450EUR as country allowance
• • 16% of monthly gross for non-French citizen for retrocession of retirement and unemployment insurance
• • child allowance
    Medical coverage
• 100% coverage of medical expenses + repatriation insurance.
  Leaves and RnR
• 25 days of paid leaves per year.
• • 20 RnR per year (and additional days to cover the RnR period rotation when necesserary)
• • 215 EUR at each RnR period (every 6-8 weeks) + Flight Allowance
