How can you make a difference?

UNICEF Cambodia is hiring consultant to act as facilitator to support the Country Office with the organization of staff retreat and other similar events during the year. The facilitator will work with HR Manager, the Chair of Staff Association and the other respective managers throughout the assignment detailed below to ensure the organization of the retreat and team building apply state of the art methodologies, promote the use of participation and other innovative approaches that effectively stimulated discussions and sharing of ideas as well as ensuring the final product (report) reflects the key strategic outcomes of the exercise.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • Advanced University Degree in Human Resources, People Management, Performance Management, and Coaching and/or equivalent level of experience or training in human resource development; coaching and training;
  • Advanced skills and demonstrated experience team building, group facilitation on stress management and time management (minimum of 8 years);
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a cross-cultural environment and ideally having worked in the Asia-Pacific Region;
  • Familiarity and prior experience with the UN system, or with the international development/ humanitarian/ emergency community highly desirable;
  • The ability to deliver the service with an excellent command of English, both written and oral;
  • Flexible nature and ability to adapt to changing directions/thinking that may occur during the Workshop;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
