Country Reporting Manager


The role

Under the supervision of the Head of Awards, the Country Reporting Manager will support the Country awards reports management as a primary focal point for any reporting cycle. S/He will also provide support orderly management of all Awards management information (from project documents, to procurement plans, to reports) and will engage with multiple departments (Supply chain, finance, Awards, programme operations, programme development and quality) in order to ensure that full information are gathered for an on time and quality reporting. Working with IT and others, the Country Reporting Manager will seek to ensure that the awards reports and the related donor requirements are accessible from all field locations. The role holder will also ensure the retro-planning updates and related actions tracker.

Qualifications and experience

  • University degree in relevant field (social sciences, development, emergency, programme management….);
  • At least 2-5 years’ experience of managing reporting processes at a large scale of programs;
  • Experience of awards and reporting management in the Save the Children’s areas: Child protection, Health, Nutrition, Education, Food Security & Livelihoods, and Child Rights Governance;
  • Understanding of donor compliance and key SC reporting procedures;
  • Good negotiation, communication, decision-making and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as part of a team;
  • Excellent organisational skills, time management and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure;
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and online data management platforms;
  • Budgeting, design and implementation experience preferred;
  • Previous training in and understanding of key donor reporting rules and regulations e.g. ECHO, EC, DFID, OFDA, DEVCO, GAC,.. ;
  • Previous indeed experience on reporting both for development and emergencies programming;
  • Ability to present complex information in a succinct and compelling manner;
  • Ability and willingness to dramatically change work practices and hours, and work with incoming surge teams, in the event of emergencies;
  • Fluency in both French and English – verbal and written, required;
  • Commitment to Save the Children values and willingness to abide by Child Safeguarding Policy.

 

Contract length: 12 months
