Experience / Training

REQUIREMENTS

• Audiovisuals, Communications, Journalism;
• At least 6 years of experience in professional production and edition of audiovisual contents and news editing (photo and video) according to broadcast standards or similar relevant experience;
• Demonstrable ability to lead and motivate a team;
• Familiar with new audiovisual formats;
• Experience managing complex creative projects including with external contractors;
• Experience developing audiovisual strategies within a large and complex organisation;
• Experience managing a budget;
• Previous experience in the international humanitarian sector an advantage;
• Good command of English and working knowledge of Spanish; French and or Arabic an asset
• Desirable: knowledge of video editing tools (Final Cut Pro, Avid, Premiere), compressing standards, Adobe Creative Suite and online publishing tools;
• Good writing skills for scripts, captions and subtitling;
• Capacity to work in different languages at the same time;
• Flexibility and ability to work under tight deadlines;
• Creativity and sense of initiative;
• Availability to travel with short notice to complex security contexts;
• Availability to work outside office hours when required;

Salary

• Structural position based in any MSF-OCBA hub: Barcelona, MSF–Spain office delegations, Buenos Aires, Amman, Dakar or Nairobi
• Full-time job
• Minimum commitment to the position of 3 years
• Availability to travel to insecure contexts with short notice (less than 10% of the time)
• Open-ended contract
• Gross salary: HQ-4C (divided in 12 monthly payments) + secondary benefits according to MSF-OCBA’s policies
• Starting date: July 2021
