Opportunity Overview:

We have an incredible opportunity for an experienced Network Operastion Center Analyst (NOC) to join our internal IT Department!  This analyst performs technical analysis of network and cybersecurity issues and outages as they occur across ministry networks and data center operations, then researches, troubleshoots, and resolves the issue or, depending upon complexity, escalates the issue to higher-level systems administrators and network engineers.  Also, supports multiple technical teams in 24x7operational environments with high uptime requirements.  If you are searching more than just a job, but a Career with lasting impact, come see how we accomplish that!

Technical Requirements:

  • Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
  • Provides timely responses to all incidents, outages, and performance alerts. Categorizes issues for escalation to appropriate technical teams.
  • Monitors a wide variety of information and network systems including telecommunications circuits, LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP systems, servers, storage, backup, operating systems, and core applications.
  • Monitors a variety of cybersecurity systems to ensure security of ministry and global operations.
  • Improves automation of repetitive tasks. Implements scripted and automated DB installs, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Works with data center partners in the event of an outage. Sets and communicates expectations for resolution.
  • Escalates or de-escalates issues as required and in a professional manner.
  • Documents incidents or outages in designated ministry tracking software and responds to incidents or requests submitted by data center partners.
  • Supports multiple technical teams in 24 x 7 operational environments with high uptime requirements.
  • Participates and aids in maintaining departmental policies concerning best practices and quality assurance.
  • Follows policies and procedures of Samaritan’s Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual.
  • Attends daily morning devotions and participates in prayer support for the ministry, donors, and volunteers.
  • Maintains a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public.
