The Role

The role of the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Officer is to contribute the emergency WASH Activities in the Rohingya Response programme in the camps and as well as in the host community level in coordination with the PHP team to ensure the quality of work at each level within the project time frame. The PHE Officer will manage the Public Health Engineering activities facilitated by OXFAM. This role will Design, Develop and Deliver WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) programme in line with the ‘Emergency Response’ approach to contribute to Oxfam GB.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a sincere and dynamic person with civil engineering or environmental engineering background with more than two years of relevant work experience in the Rohingya Response context, who can demonstrate a willingness to learn and constantly develop professional skills. PHE Officer should have great interpersonal skills, excellent technical skills and a clear understanding of WASH activities to better contribute to achieving success in such a large-scale humanitarian response programme.
