Position description

The Fletcher School is seeking candidates with a PhD in political science or conflict resolution to join our Rising Power Alliances Project team and conduct research on rising power alignments and their impact on the United States. The Rising Power Alliances Project is a grant-funded project that examines theoretical and empirical aspects of rising power alliances/coalitions, especially the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa), and systematically engages non-Western perspectives and policies of the BRICS countries across various issue areas. We are looking for an excellent researcher with a global outlook who will conduct research on U.S. policymaking toward rising powers. The fellow will work with investigators to produce journal articles, work with the whole research team on database development and engage in other activities. To learn more about the project see https://sites.tufts.edu/cierp/rising-power-alliances-project/

Qualifications

Doctorate is required, and applicants must have received their Ph.D. degree in 2016 or later. Preference for candidates with publishing experience, understanding of U.S. foreign and defense policy and expertise in methodology.
