The network administrator is responsible for the stable operations and maintenance of the enterprise network infrastructure.

 


Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Manage and maintain routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, VPNs, routing, border gateway protocols, and internet circuits for the enterprise.

Identify, diagnose, and resolve common network problems.

Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency), systems health, security, and test for weaknesses.

Provide assistance to team members and provide after-hours support which includes on-call duties, weekend and nighttime deployments.

Upgrade enterprise network devices which include modifying routes, policies, gateways and ACL’s on routers, firewalls and devices.

Performs other related duties as required.
 


Required Education, Qualifications, Experience

High School Diploma with at least 3 years of experience.

 


Preferred Education, Qualifications, Experience

Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of experience.
