About Penal Reform International (PRI)
Last year Penal Reform International celebrated its 30th anniversary as an international NGO whose vision is for safe societies worldwide in which criminal justice systems are non-discriminatory and protect the rights of disadvantaged people. At the same time, we launched our new strategy for 2020-2023, setting out our ambitions to continue developing fair and effective criminal justice through practical programmes and systemic reform.
Our international staff teams work from offices in Jordan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uganda, Central African Republic and the UK, and with partners in other countries. We are an association registered in the Netherlands.
About the role
We are looking to recruit a project coordinator, based in the Netherlands, ideally in The Hague, to lead this project. The post-holder will have demonstrable experience of working in criminal justice in Europe and will have managed EU-funded projects before. Proven project coordination skills working on complex projects with multiple stakeholders are essential as is the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and spoken English. The post-holder must already have the legal right to live and work in the Netherlands.
Salary: Competitive
Contract: Full-time, fixed-term contract, 20-23 months
