JOB DESCRIPTION

Altai Consulting is recruiting a Project Coordinator to coordinate project work in Mozambique. The Project Coordinator will support us in implementing research, monitoring and evaluation projects across Mozambique. Responsibilities include:

  • Designing survey tools and coding surveys using software e.g., SurveyCTO;

  • Designing survey sampling methodologies;

  • Recruiting and managing field teams;

  • Providing feedback to field teams;

  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of survey data;

  • Presenting data in meaningful ways through charts, maps and infographics;

  • Drafting reports;

  • Supporting presentations of data to clients.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced degree in economics, engineering, statistics, or a related field;

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English;

  • Ability to write analytical reports to an excellent standard;

  • Experience and keen interest in the development sector and economic development in particular;

  • Independent and resourceful.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Familiarity with other Mozambiquan languages;

  • Familiarity with STATA or SPSS,

  • Experience supervising surveys and conducting data analysis.
