Project Manager – Creating Spaces Project (INT7733)

What we are looking for

We are looking for Project Manager for Creating Spaces to manage and deliver high quality implementation of the Creating Spaces to take Action on Violence Against Women and Girls project in accordance with Oxfam policy and agreed framework with Oxfam Canada which supports national and community civil society organizations to promote gender equality in West Java, East Java, South Sulawesi and West Nusa Tenggara by increasing women’s empowerment, promoting women’s leadership, and reducing violence against women and girls.

The Role

Our next role will require below qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline (preferably economics, politics, sociology, humanities) or substantial experience
  • At the least three years proven experience in project development and implementation including experience in gender justice issue
  • At least three years’ proven experience of project management including managing budgets, staff and funding of different projects. This is to include excellent people management skills, with a good understanding of team development and proven financial management skills
  • Good understanding of community development issues, with experience of or ability to work directly with local NGOs or communities
  • Resilient
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to think strategically for project design and to implement the approach (Desirable)
  • Ability to work with others to develop vision into strategy and communicating and influencing this to a wider audience (Desirable)
