Job Purpose

The Supply Chain Risk Management Officer is an important role in driving supply chain risk management and good practice within the Supply Chain (mainly Procurement, Planning and Logistics) community. The role is part of the Logistics Compliance Unit and works closely with procurement, planning and logistics teams around the world.

Main Responsibilities:

· Collaborate in a project based on Lean Six Sigma methodology aiming at enhancing the risk management and internal control system

· Conduct a comprehensive analysis of Supply Chain processes through process mapping, root cause analysis and Failure mode and effect analysis based on ISO 31000 guidelines

· Coordinate with process owners the definition of mitigation measures

· Identify missing guidelines and support the establishment of Standard Operating Procedures

· Knowledge sharing/best practice on risk management

Selection Requirements:

· Must have a university degree in Industrial Engineering focused on process analysis or Masters’ Degree in Supply Chain Management

· At least three (3) years of experience in a position related to risk management or process improvement is required

· Work experience on logistics processes (preferably transport, import and export, fleet management) is required, worked in third party logistics is a plus

Your Profile:

· Understanding of different risks related to the Supply Chain activities and appropriate mitigating controls

· Ability to capture processes and translate them into comprehensive process maps

· Ability to present ideas/concepts and take a consultative approach with stakeholders and peers

· Pro-active, flexible, resilient, motivated and results oriented

· A pragmatist – be able to strike the balance between operational constraints and the effective delivery of the department

· Excellent influencing and communication skills, particularly in a remote setting

· Able to build productive network with other organizations to share knowledge and good practices

· Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent skills in Excel and PPT.

· Fluent command of written and spoken English. Knowledge in French is an asset.
