The Opportunity

Save the Children International has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as the– Team Coordinator at London Save the Children office location.

Scope

Reports to:  Chief of Staff to the SCA/SCI CEO

Staff reporting to this post: none

Budget Responsibilities: none

Key internal relationships: CEO Save the Children International and rest of CEO Team; SCA/SCI Board Chair and her Executive Assistant, SCA/SCI Board Members, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and their Executive Assistants, Leadership Communications, Extended Leadership Team (ELT).

In order to be successful you will bring/have:

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Essential

  • Experience in diary and inbox management for senior executives
  • Experience in supporting various senior stakeholders, gaining trust and confidence.
  • Experience coordinating complex international travel arrangements
  • Experience coordinating large high-level meetings (in person and virtually)
  • Sound judgement and an ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks in a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to adopt a pro-active approach to problem solving working closely with both the senior colleagues as required and offering solutions as appropriate
  • Ability to work in a highly confidential environment
  • A strong attention to detail
  • High level of initiative and ability to work autonomously on tasks as required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, fluent in English
  • Advanced skills in using MS Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • The ability to liaise and communicate effectively with a broad range of people at all levels, across different cultures and to act with credibility, discretion, tact and diplomacy
  • Self- motivated, proactive and ability to work autonomously
  • Commitment to the mission, vision and values of Save the Children

Desirable

  • Good knowledge of SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Planner

Fluency in other languages – e.g. Spanish, French, Arabic 

We can offer circa £ 26,000 per annum ( If based in UK) with an option of flexible of working hours
