Level: Assistant Classification: LE-05 Location: Stockholm, Sweden Closing date for applications: 01-04-2021 at 23:59 UTC/GMT Summary of position: The Trade Program Assistant, under the supervision of the Trade Counsellor, provides daily administrative support and services; provides and creates information and documentation; provides support for on-going trade program activities; responds to service requests from clientele and performs other duties as required. The Trade Program Assistant also supports the regional focus of the trade program by supporting administrative interactions and proactively co-operating with regional offices relating to normal job duties. Essential qualifications: Candidates will initially be screened against the Essential Qualifications relating to education, experience and language. Candidates must clearly demonstrate in their cover letter and CV how they meet each of these essential qualifications. Education: • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a major in a discipline related to the job requirements (e.g. economics, administration, communication) or an equivalent* combination of education, training and experience. *Equivalent is defined as a combination of minimum of two years’ post-Secondary experience and/or vocational training. Language: • Fluency in English (oral and written) • Fluency in Swedish (oral and written) Experience: • Minimum 2 years of combined experience in client service delivery and providing administrative services, which includes managing appointments, providing event/logistical support and budget and/or accounting support. Rated Requirements The Rated Requirements relating to knowledge, abilities and competencies will also be assessed. Methods of assessment may include, but are not limited to, a written examination, an oral interview, role-play, practical tests, presentations and/or psychometric assessment. Knowledge: • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Knowledge of standard office procedures and practices.
