Job Summary

Under supervision of Manager AP Operations, assist with processing of accounts payable vouchers, file documents, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, respond to internal and external Accounts Payable customer inquiries and other administrative duties as needed.

Roles and Key Responsibilities

Enter accounts payable invoices as directed.

Match supplier invoices to purchase orders with matching process.

Maintain, disburse and balance petty cash fund if needed.

Prepare and enter various journal entries related to agency’s activities and reclassification requests.

Work closely with accounts payable and finance staff.

Mail or distribute vendor and employee payments.

File vouchers weekly as processed.

Respond to inquiries from payee, payers, internal and external auditors, etc.

Other duties as assigned by A/P Supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications

2 Years of College.

Personal Skills

Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word.

Experience in Oracle accounting software helpful.

Good communication.

Superb customer service.

Good organizational and time management skills: filing, cash handling, maintaining an organized work area.

Key Working Relationships:

Internal: CRS HQ staff ; Regional office staff; Some overseas staff

External: Auditors, CRS suppliers

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

High school graduate.

3-5 years’ experience in an accounts payable environment.
