The Role

Oxfam GB is looking for a Supporter Relations Executive to join a friendly, hardworking, and diverse team who all share a passion for supporter care.

The Supporter Relations Team provide frontline supporter engagement and response services for Oxfam GB through a multi-channel operation (telephone, email, social media, live chat and post). They respond to requests, enquiries, complaints, or other engagement from supporters of all types and the public, and their role is to enhance engagement levels with Oxfam through the delivery of an outstanding supporter experience.

Please note there are two positions: One is a 6-month fixed-term contract & the second one is an open-ended/permanent position.

  • Ability to interpret and use significant quantities of information with proven time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail in order to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment – achieving both quality and response time targets.
  • Ability to be resilient and use your excellent interpersonal skills within the team to positively influence, support and motivate your colleagues to deal with high volumes and complex enquiries.
  • IT/database skills and ability to learn new skills or technology in a rapidly changing communications environment.
